Hints and Tips - BURN INSTRUCTIONS

Trim the wick to 1cm

If your candle starts to melt unevenly, one side doesnt seem to be melting, you get some tunneling or one side starts to leak, extinguish the flame, wait a few seconds and then smooth the edges flat.

You can also squeeze together any gap that has appeared and is the cause of the leak.

Once the melt pool has cooled a little, trim the blackened wick to 1cm high and relight.

Please note: Dog or cat shaped candles are likely to melt a little unevenly due to their irregular shape.

To get the most out of your candle its best to do frequent maintenance, as above, to ensure a more even wax melt.  Candles left to burn without any maintenance are likely to burn inefficiently or burn down very quickly.

• Do not leave a lit candle unattended
• Keep away from children and animals
• Keep away from draughts
• Keep away from window dressings or flammable materials
• Remove any collar, labels or packaging prior to lighting
• All candles should be placed in a lipped candle tray
