We are based in Motherwell, North Lanarkshire Scotland
We use a mineral wax from Scottish suppliers specifically blended for use in pillar candles for outstanding stability and a long shelf life. The majority of our candles carry the maximum fragrance so we can provide you with the best scent experience with safety our priority.
All our candles are rigorously tested to ensure you receive a candle which is completely safe in accordance with British Safety Standard BS EN 15493-2019 to ensure all candles will not cause a problem should you burn outwith recommended practice. However we would recommend only burning for the maximum times specified in your safety instruction sheet (supplied with your candle).
Our more unsually shapes candles are made in moulds (our moulds are designed and handmade by us). Our wax, fragrance, dye and a little bit of magic are poured into the mould, left to set and cure then decanted and decorated. All candles are supplied in bubble pockets and carefully packed into gift boxes before being boxed for despatch
We make our scented candles by pouring into silicone moulds. We make the majority of our own silicone moulds so are always sourcing new doggy ornaments from which to make our moulds. We are constantly adding to our collection of moulds. If you have a specific breed in mind pop us an email and we will let you know if we can make this and how long until it might be available.

If you are not happy with your candle please email us to let us know exactly the issue with the candle with clear pictures so we can assess if this is a quailty issue. Send to sales@unusualcandleco.co.uk
If this is a quality issue we will refund in full or send a replacement.

We can supply any of our dog & cat candles in any colour. If you would like a candle with colour and markings to look like your dog/cat just send us a few pictures and we can custom make one to look as close as possible at no extra cost!
